Purbrook Cricket Club 1st XI compete in the Hampshire Cricket League.
Our 1st XI won the Hampshire Cricket League back in 2016, gaining promotion to the Southern Premier Cricket League. After a few years in this competition, Purbrook 1s returned to the Hampshire Cricket League.
After a restructure by the league, our 1st XI will compete in Division 3B. For the first time, it will see us play other sides home and away.

Our 1s will match up against a lot of new faces in 2025!
Bedhampton Mariners, Emsworth, Gosport Borough 2s, Locks Heath, Portsmouth and Southsea 2s, Shanklin & Godshill and Waterlooville were all part of the now redundant Division 3 South. Locks Heath were the highest placed team in that division last season, finishing 4th
Kerala (Portsmouth) and Solent Rangers were both promoted from Division 4 South. Kerala won the league, with Solent Rangers just behind them in the second.
There will be a lot of unknown for the squad, but there is a lot of optimism about competing towards the top of the league in 2025.
