Purbrook Cricket Club: Youth Section

With 70 colts, Purbrook Cricket Club’s Youth Section is quickly growing. We provide a positive environment where all of our colts are able to enjoy cricket. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, ability or gender.

PCC is committed to fostering a safe and fun environment for kids of all ages to love cricket. All our Youth Teams are coached by ECB qualified coaches. We believe in sharing the love of the sport and encouraging everyone to participate and develop their athletic skills.

Our stunning ground provides the perfect place for parents and family to watch. Our Club House is always open on match-days, and features a full bar.

Youth Teams

Purbrook Cricket Club features five youth teams, so everybody has a place to thrive. Our Youth Teams are categorised by:

Under 17s

All of these teams encourage players of all genders and abilities. So, whether it’s the first time trying cricket or you’re looking to join a fun community, Purbrook is perfect for everybody.

All Stars Cricket at Purbrook CC

All Stars Cricket is the perfect way to get your kids into an exciting team sport. The programme provides an opportunity for your children to develop their skills, make new friends, and hopefully, find a love of the sport.

For children aged 5-8, All Stars Cricket is a perfect introduction into cricket. With eight 60-minute sessions, the programme is designed to include children of all abilities and learning needs. They will learn valuable skills, including throwing, batting and catching. All of the equipment is designed for use by children.

Importantly, cricket is about the fun of the sport, teamwork and respect.
